Juniper Networks has long enjoyed successful relationships with our College and University customers. Juniper Networks' routers make up the core of Internet2's Abilene network which provides advanced network services to over 220 universities, corporate and affiliate member institutions in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. We have worked with our College and University customers to deliver best of breed Routing, Security and Intrusion Detection equipment and services across the entire network allowing for the free and open share of information. Leveraging Juniper Networks next generation technologies for IP communication helps to improve services to students and faculty and to accelerate success in ever competitive research initiatives. To build on these relationships and forge new ones, Juniper is proud to announce "Juniper Your University." The program has several goals:

  1. To increase the depth and scope of our relationship with current Higher Education customers
  2. To create new Higher Education partnerships
  3. To create an environment that facilitates the open share of information and best practices among our Higher Ed partners
  4. To facilitate direct feedback from our Higher Education customers to our engineering teams to ensure that we deliver equipment necessary to take your networks to the next level

All Higher Education Institutions

  • By application and subsequent award, Juniper will make equipment donations on a rolling basis throughout the calendar year to Universities that present us with uses of our equipment that challenge the limits of the traditional campus network.
