Statement introduced in JUNOS Release 9.0 for EX-series switches.

Description

For Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP), or Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), configure interfaces as edge interfaces. Edge interfaces immediately transition to a forwarding state.

Default

Edge interfaces are not enabled.
