Power Specifications and Requirements for EX-series Switches
This topic describes power specifications and requirements for power supplies for EX 3200 and EX 4200 switches.
Table 1 provides the AC power supply electrical specifications for EX 3200 and EX 4200 switches.
Table 2 provides the DC power supply electrical specifications for EX 3200 and EX 4200 switches.

Note: The DC power supply in EX 3200 and EX 4200 switches does not support Power over Ethernet (PoE); you can use either an external power injector or an AC power supply to supply power to PoE devices that you connect to the switch. |

Note: For DC power supplies, we recommend that you provide at least 7.5 A @ 48 VDC and use a facility circuit breaker rated for 10 A minimum. Doing so enables you to operate the switch in any configuration without upgrading the power infrastructure, and allows the switch to function at full capacity using multiple power supplies. |
