AC Power Supply LEDs in EX 3200 and EX 4200 Switches

The AC power supply in an EX 3200 or EX 4200 switch is a hot-removable and hot-insertable field-replaceable unit (FRU) located on the rear panel. Table 1 describes the LEDs on the AC power supplies in EX 3200 and EX 4200 switches.

State and Description

AC OK
  • Off—Disconnected from power or power is not coming into the power supply.
  • On—Power is coming into the power supply.

DC OK
  • Off—Power supply is not sending out power correctly.
  • On—Power supply is sending out power correctly.

Note: If AC OK LED and DC OK LED are unlit, it indicates that either the AC power cord is not installed properly or the power supply fuse has failed. If AC OK LED is lit and DC OK LED is unlit, it indicates that the AC power supply is not installed properly or the power supply has an internal failure.
